General News: Library Budget Vote on Tuesday
On Tuesday, April 13, voters in the Cornwall Central School District will be able to vote on the 2010-2011 Operating Budget for the Cornwall Public Library. Last month, the library board of trustees approved an operating budget of $981,300 of which $907,400 is raised by taxes. The proposed budget is a 4.75% increase over the current year’s budget.

Also on the ballot will be election of a Library Trustee for a 5-year term to replace Lucinda Poindexter, the current board secretary, who will complete her 5-year term on 6/30/10. Candidates for that position are Cheryl Buescher, Gail Gold-Berger and Susanne Vondrak.
Voting will take place at Cornwall Public Library from 10 am to 9 pm on Tuesday, April 13th.
