General News: Accident Claims Local Man's Life

A Cornwall-on-Hudson man died as a result of fatal motor vehicle accident Saturday morning on Mineral Springs Road in the town of Cornwall.
Cornwall police chief Todd Hazard said that 24-year-old Joseph Moore was driving south on the road when his 1999 Acura went off the roadway and struck a stone wall and a utility pole. Hazard reported that Moore was ejected from the vehicle.
He was treated on the scene by the Cornwall Volunteer Ambulance Corp and Mobile Life paramedics, then was flown to the Westchester Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
Town of Cornwall police are pursuing an investigation of the accident.

My condolences to the family. Too many young people have been killed on our roads lately. Rest in Peace.
Everyone please, wear your seat belts whenever you get in a car (passenger or driver). They really do save lives.
