General News: Pedestrian Killed on Route 9W in Cornwall
A 2008 Cornwall high school graduate was struck and killed by a vehicle on Route 9W on Thanksgiving evening.
Cornwall police say that Dylan T. Donnelly, 20, was hit by a Toyota driven by a woman from New Windsor as walked into the roadway on the northbound lane of Route 9W near Laurel Avenue around 5:00 p.m.
Donnelly was flown to Westchester Medical Center where he died later that evening of his injuries, according to Cornwall police.
No charges have been filed as a result of the fatal accident but Cornwall police sargeant Steven Dixon asked witnesses to call (845) 534-8100.
