General News: Winners of the 4th of July Art Competition

Dozens of young people submitted their original artwork to this year’s Independence Day Committee competition for the best in patriotic art. Local artist Sue Fink helped organize and judge this year’s competition and put them all on display in a booth on the 4th of July fairground.
The top three winners in the contest are Naiya Vasquez, Aidan Astigarraga and Kiara Halliman. Their hand-drawn and colored artwork is pictured at right.
