General News: New Part-Time Police Officer
from Chief Steven E. Dixon of the Cornwall-on-Hudson Police Department
On Monday, April 15, 2013, the Village of Cornwall appointed Laila Proulx to the position of Part- Time Police Officer with the Cornwall-on-Hudson Police Department.
Mrs. Proulx recently retired from the Village of Spring Valley, N.Y. Police Department in Rockland County. Mrs. Proulx has extensive work experience and is a certified Vehicle Child Seat Restraint Installer, a certified Bicycle Officer and has worked as a School Resource Officer (SRO) in Spring Valley, N.Y. High School.
Mrs. Proulx also worked Security for the WNBA, Womens Professional Basketball Association, she also started her Law Enforcement career with the City of New Rochelle, N.Y. PD in Westchester County.
The Cornwall-on-Hudson PD welcomes Laila Proulx to the Department !
