General News: Local Woman Honored by SLCH

A Mountainville resident has named Stellar Leader of the Year at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital. Jeanne Campbell is the Manager of Rehabilitation at the hospital, where she has been on the St. Luke's Cornwall Center for Rehabilitation team for five years.
Her supervisor, Director of Rehabilitation Scott Francis, said, “Jeanne earned this honor because of her commitment to delivering patient care that is comprehensive and compassionate. She leads by example, and consistently inspires our team to strive for excellence in patient care.”
Dave Mohr, of Highland, a physical therapist and site supervisor at SLCH’s Center for Rehabilitation on Route 9W in Newburgh was named 2008 Star of the Year along with Campbell.
Hospital officials say that SLCH’s Center for Rehabilitation is one of the busiest in the region, and is one of the keys to success for the hospital’s new Center for Joint Replacement .
