General News: Streets to Close for Ball Drop
Three streets in the central business district of Cornwall-on-Hudson will be closed shortly before the ball is dropped Wednesday at midnight to welcome in the new year.
Cornwall-on-Hudson police chief Charlie Williams says that Hudson Street, Idlewild Avenue and River Avenue will be closed as needed. He encouraged people driving to the village square for the annual ball drop from the roof of Storm King Theatre to park along the streets approaching the area.
