General News: Cornwall United Football Week 4
DIVISION I-GREEN
The Division I Green Team lost to New Windsor 20-0. Joey Lynch, Jack Stohmeier, Gene Baybay and Kieran Krieder worked hard on the offense. Gene Baybay had a nice 15-yard run. Tanner Boynton, Cameron McLeod and Danny McTamaney all played a great defensive game and connected with some awesome tackles.
DIVISION II
The White Dragons fell to a powerful Pine Bush team 38-8. The defense got the Dragons on the scoreboard when Jessie Santafemia and Charles Manzari sacked the Pine Bush QB for a safety. Richard Thorpe had a sack, while Austin Faller, Christian Scileppi, and Danny Malvey were all standouts on defense. The receiving corps of Nick Krafft, Jason Bailey, and Michael Reilly made some terrific catches, including a one handed TD grab by Reilly. Scott Brusseler was efficient at QB completing 13 of 16 passes. Cole Toto, Brendan Rose, and Ryan Vizethan played hard all game.
DIVISION IV
The Division 4 Dragons raised their record to 4-0 with a 22-0 victory over Highland Falls in West Point. Offensively, Alex Cruz scored on a 65 yard TD run. Receivers Patrick Riley contributed with key receptions. Defensively the Dragons were led by Mike D'Esposito and Chris Parker, who each scored TD's on turnovers. Justin Hines had a key interception and Luke Zsido put constant pressure on the QB with his pass rushing. Aiden Carroll converted 2 of 3 extra point kicks.
