Two beautiful rainbows appeared in the sky over Cornwall on Saturday evening, on the heels of a rainstorm that swept through.
The rainbows stayed for nearly half hour, hovering at times above Storm King Mountain and then seeming to disappear right into the Hudson River.
People stopped along Quaker Avenue and Hudson Street to see the colorful skies. Bob Langston was walking near Painters’ restaurant in the village and took these two photos. He noted that the rainbows were a good omen for anyone sailing the next day.
