General News: Girls Win District Title
Following their victory over Goshen on Tuesday, the 11-year-old girls softball team clinched the District 19 championship and will move on to face a sectional rival from District 16 on Monday, July 28, at 6:30 p.m. in Cornwall.
In the game on Tuesday, Brittany Malloy pitched a three-hitter and struck out nine batters to help the team to its 19-4 victory.
Marlena Marzigliano, Hailey Lindenberger and Cathy Elliason each had a single and RBI for Cornwall.
