General News: Cornwall 11-Year-Old Boys Win Title
The 11-year-old Cornwall boys baseball team clinched the Division 19 championship on Wednesday evening in a game played in Cornwall.
The team defeated Montgomery with a final score of 17-7.
Mike Bartolone lead the team with three hits, including one home run, and three RBI. Mike White had three hits and one RBI. Pitcher Nick Klumack had three doubles and two RBI, while Matt Smith had a home run and three RBI.
The 9-and-10-year-old boys also had a win on Wednesday, defeating Wallkill Area 3-2.
