General News: Boy Suffers Minor Injuries in Accident
A 12-year-old boy received bumps and bruises after he collided with a car on Main Street near Cornwall Town Hall on Thursday around 12:45 p.m.
Cornwall police sargeant Steven Dixon said the boy was riding his bicycle and he darted out from Veteran's Way onto Main Street without looking. Dixon said the boy, whose identity has not been released, drove into the right passenger side of a car that was headed east on Main Street.
The boy received medical treatment at the scene and was transported to St. Luke's Cornwall hospital. Dixon said the boy's injuries are not life-threatening.
