General News: Cornwall All-Star Game Results

Cornwall’s Little League All-Star teams won their first round of games on Monday night.
The Major boys team defeated Warwick National by a score of 7 to 1. Pitcher Sam Fleischman struck out five batters and was the winning pitcher. Chris Bauer went two-for-three and had two RBIs.
The team plays again on Wednesday against Washingtonville in a game that will be held in Wallkill.
The Junior boys team won their game against Monroe-Woodbury American with a final score of 15 to 0.
Kadeem Octave had three hits and Casey Kerdesky and Frank Denome each got two hits.
The team faces New Windsor on Wednesday in a game to be held in Montgomery.
The Major girls softball also came out swinging, racking up 35 runs in the game against Goshen that ended after four innings with a score of 35-1.
Kim Terrizzi scored a home run, tripled and had five RBIs. Tori Adolino tripled, doubled and had four RBIs while Caroline Staudle had four singles and four RBIs and Victoria Brennan had a double and two RBIs.
The team plays against New Windsor on Tuesday in Walden.
