Tom Doyle writes that this hilltop in the Moodna Valley just west of the Trestle is one of his favorite places at the end of day. He notes that the copse throws long shadows as the sun nears the horizon.
This was shot toward the end of April as the buds are breaking and the evenings are soft.

I have been on this hillside when the sun was rising on one side and the moon was setting on the other. it is truly a magical place. check out the blue of the sky! thank you Tom!
