| The stone bridge was in disrepair |
Mountain Road will remain closed on Wednesday morning, according to village of Cornwall-on-Hudson clerk Jeanne Mahoney.
Mahoney said the project will not be completed at least until noon on Wednesday.
The lower section of the road, between Boulevard and Hudson Street, was closed to allow the department of public works to repair a damaged stone bridge and for the village water department to work on a waterline. (Click here for a related story on preserving the stone bridge.)
