Stop the Bleed Class

 March 31, 2018 is National Stop Bleed Day. This is a nationwide day to educate the public on the importance of stopping life threaten bleeding caused by trauma. The Cornwall Volunteer ambulance Corps in conjunction with the Town of Cornwall Emergency Management Office and National Stop Bleed Day will be holding two classes for the public. There is no charge for this training. This will include education on serious injuries and methods that ordinary people can take to stop serious bleeding. The top cause of preventable death in trauma is bleeding. 20% of people who have died from traumatic injuries could have survived with quick bleeding control.

Class schedule are as follows:
Sunday, March 25th 2018 at 1PM to 3PM
Wednesday March 28th 2018 at 7PM to 9PM
Class size is limited to 30 students.
