General News: COH Officer Appointed to Detective
From the Cornwall-on-Hudson Police Department
On Monday evening, October 16, 2017, at the Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y., October, 2017’ Business Meeting, P.O. Art Terwilliger was appointed to the position of Detective. Det. Terwilliger will be responsible for handling criminal cases, department liaison to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, warrants, orders of protection, perform forensic/ I.D. work at crime scenes and will be the designated “officer in charge” when the Chief of Police is away and/ or unavailable.
Detective Terwilliger has been employed as an officer with the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y. Police Department for the past seventeen years and with his experience, knowledge, training and diligence to duty, will be a continued asset to both the department and to the community.
