It’s with deep and sad regret to inform that former Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y. Police Department Chief of Police, Richard “Ricky” Douglass, passed away on Saturday, July 01, 2017, at his residence in Davenport, Florida. He was 71 years of age.
Chief Douglass was the Cornwall-on-Hudson Police Chief from 1977’ till his retirement in 2001’, he was not only known as an excellent and well respected Chief of Police, he was also known as a good husband, father and friend. He will be sorely missed.
There will be a Memorial Service for Chief Douglass being held at Quigley Funeral Home, 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y. 12520, this Saturday, July 08, 2017, from 2pm till 5pm. Any/ all other arrangements will be private at the request of the family.
