General News: Corn Estate Haunted Attraction Floods
From The Corn Estate
On the weekend of July 30th heavy rains in the Cornwall area resulted in flooding in the basement of the Storm King Engine Company #2. This space has been used for the past three years as a part of The Corn Estate Haunted Attraction. While professional repairs will need to be made to the room, our ghosts and monsters were able to float to safety. Due to the construction and repairs, The Corn Estate will not be able to open in time for Halloween this year.
The Corn Estate staff will focus on developing next year’s attraction and will use this as an opportunity for growth and improvement. For example, the entire Corn family has decided to go on a “Spirits Retreat” to further develop their haunting skills. Thaddeus Corn will study advanced group scares, while his daughter, Candy, practices her knife sharpening and stabbing skills.
In the meantime, Corn Estate co-founders, Charlie Quinn and Russell Dreher will begin to develop plans for next year. Stay tuned to this spooky channel for more information as it becomes available!
