The Cornwall Public Library Adds New Hours

CORNWALL, NY – Starting June 1st you will be able to get your books and DVDs, use the copier, or just sit and relax an hour earlier at the library. The library will be adjusting its hours to open at 9:00am, Monday-Saturday. This will add an additional 6 hours of opening time per week for the Cornwall community to take advantage of all the services the library has to offer. The earlier opening time will also better accommodate the early morning story time patrons.

After conducting public surveys, an analysis of usage statistics, and looking at their long range strategic plan, the Board of Trustees decided that this was something that the public not only wanted, but needed. Library Director, Mary Lou Carolan, and the Board will continue to assess the needs of the public down the road in regards to the library’s operating hours. The library looks forward to serving its patrons in this extended capacity.

New Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 9:00am-8:00pm
Friday: 9:00am-6:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am-4:00pm
Sunday: 1:00pm-4:00pm
