National Library Week at the Library
CORNWALL, NY – Cornwall Public Library celebrated National Library Week, April 10-16, with events all week. Besides a wide variety of programs for children and adults all week, the library had a “get caught reading” initiative, where patrons had their photograph taken while reading. “It is so great to see all the different things going on at the library!” said Ann Marie McDonald, a grandmother from Pennsylvania who was visiting her daughter and granddaughter. National Library Week is the perfect jumping-off point for libraries to show patrons how they can make an impact in their community.
