NYMA update, Work Session Changes, Black Rock Race Rescheduled

CORNWALL-ON-HUDSON, NY – On Monday, September 21st, the village held their monthly board meeting.
On Wednesday, September 30th, the New York Military Academy will be auctioned. The starting bid is $9.5 million. If there are no acceptable bids, a foreclosure sale will occur on October 2nd. Last week the Town sent out a Press Release expressing their continued interest in purchasing the property. There are rumors that a KJ representative will be in attendance.
The Village Work Session will be moved from October 12th, 2015. It will now be held on October 5th, 2015, at its usual time of 7pm. The Board Meeting will still be held on the third Monday of the Month.
The Black Rock Races, that were to be held on September 12th, have been postponed until November 14th. Registration for the race has been reopened, so don’t forget to sign up.
There will be a Wedding in Donahue Memorial Park on October 3rd. Please be aware of parking, and traffic both arriving and departing from the park.
