Wild Wineberries |
The berry clusters sit gleaming red, tempting you to put one in your mouth, and you do!
But this doesn't have the tart yet sweet flavor of a raspberry, despite its juicy look.
It's the wineberry, an invasive species that was introduced from Asia more than 100 years ago. It thrives all over the Cornwall area and the berries can be made into jams, pies, or thrown on top of your cereal. Learn more about the wineberry.
