Anthony Desa, President of the Board of Trustees announced that an agreement was reached between NYMA and Global Preparatory Academies, LLC on August 4, 2015.
The agreement is still subject to court approval Desa said the agreement would allow New York Military Academy to operate under its historic name.
The Cornwall Town Board sent a “Letter of Intent” stating that the Town of Cornwall would like to purchase NYMA for $9 million. Cornwall would buy the property and lease it back to NYMA.
