Obituaries: Eileen "Chickie" Gillen

Eileen "Chickie" Gillen of Cornwall, NY died peacefully, at home, surrounded by her family on December 10, 2011. She was a Homemaker. She was the daughter of Joseph Dinneny and Sara Yeandle Dinneny.
Survivors include her husband, John T. Gillen, at home; sons, Robert Withus and wife, Gloria of Brentwood, NY, and Jay Gillen of Scranton, PA; daughter, DeeAnne O'Keefe and husband, David of Cornwall; brother, Thomas Dinneny and wife, Carol of Chester, NY; sister, Diane Razzano of Plainview, NY; grandchildren: TJ Withus and fiance, Michelle, Michael Withus and wife, Jenn, Nicholas, Ryan, and Laila Mia Gillen, Kathryn and husband, Josh Truman, Brigette, Dannen, and Janette O'Keefe; special nieces, Kim and Carol.
A Family Statement reads: "She was a beautiful example of unconditional love."
The family would like to thank Cornwall Vol. Ambulance and New Windsor Vol. Ambulance and the Cornwall Police Dept for their kindness and professionalism.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p,m, on Friday, December 16, 2011 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY 12520.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson St, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520. Burial will follow in Orange County Veteran Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
Contributions may be made to St.Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Judes Place, Memphis TN 38105-1942.
