General News: Thanks for Joining Yard Sale

To the Editor:
I want to offer a warm thank you to everyone who participated in our fifth Village-Wide Yard Sale on Saturday, Oct. 15. We had approximately 100 yard sales and I handed out over 100 village maps that morning to visitors.
What a day we had! The weather was beautiful and your cooperation and support made it fun to do. I enjoyed your positive comments on the tape and your enthusiasm for a community event. Some of our streets were bustling with traffic but everyone was respectful and cautious. It was great to see so many residents and visitors enjoying each other!
So, hold onto those ‘treasures’ and be ready for next year!
