Alfred D. Crudele passed away on September 11, 2011 at St. Luke's Corwall Hospital Newburgh, NY. He was the owner of A Crudele Wholesale Auto Cornwall in Highland Mills, NY. He was 71.
Son of Arkoline Crudele and Rose Riglioni Crudele, he was born on August 13, 1940 in Newburgh NY.
Survivors include his sons: Lonnie Crudele and the future fiance, Mely Rijfkogel of Cornwall, NY, Alfred Crudele Jr. and his wife, Gina of Newburgh, NY; brother, Butch Crudele of Cornwall NY; grandchildren, Ryan and Alexa Crudele.
Mr. Crudele was a member of American Legion Post 1796 in New Windsor, Black Rock Fish and Game Club of Mountainville, NY. He served in Army National Guard from 1959 -1960.
A family statement reads: "Enjoyed time with his sons and their families, especially times spent with his grandchildren. An avid sportsman, hunting and fishing."
Visitation was held from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday Sept. 14 at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday Sept. 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 190 Robinson Ave., Newburgh NY. Burial is to follow in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
