Obituaries: Michael Anthony Dyseven

Michael Anthony Dyseven of Cornwall entered into rest on Thursday, September 8, 2011. He was 49.
The son of the late Anthony and Elizabeth McCarthy Dyseven, he was born on March 12, 1962 in Cornwall, NY.
Michael was a loving and caring husband, father and brother. He had an amazing sense of humor and took great pleasure in teasing everyone. He had special nicknames for all of his family and friends. He was an incredibly talented musician who loved the blues. He was also an avid boater and loved the water. Michael was a unique person full of life and exuberance.
Survivors include his wife Theresa Van Houten-Dyseven and son Anthony J. Dyseven at home; sister Sheila Pelkey and husband Rick of Eaton, CO; and nieces Christina Huntington and Julia Mathews. He was predeceased by his nephew Henry J. Van Houten.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 6:30–10 pm at James F. Lulves Funeral Home, 9 Ave. A, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in Michael’s memory be made to Education Through Music at etmonline.org or to the Hepatitis Research Fund at www.hepcfund.org.
