James F. Traver Sr., 84, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY, passed away August 4, 2011 at Orange Regional in Goshen, NY. He was born March 30, 1927 to Percy Corbin Traver and Mary Coleman Traver.
James was married to Janet R. Traver. He was retired from Star Expansion in Mountainville, NY. He served in the USAF from 1945-1948. A family statement reads: "James was a loving husband, father and Pa."
Survivors include: his wife, Janet W. Ralph Traver at home; sons: James Traver of Albuquerque, NM; Brian Traver and his wife, Kathy of New Windsor; daughters: Peggi Morgan of Cornwall; Dyann Krayewsky and her husband, Andrew of New Paltz; brother, William Traver of Poughkeepsie; grandchildren: Jason Morgan; Karl Morgan and wife, Lauren; Randee Martinez and husband, Mike; Tricia Lake and husband, Ron; James Traver; Tyler Krayewsky; Brendan Krayewsky; great grandchildren: Kaylee and Miaa Lake, and Matthew Martinez.
Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, August 9 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520. Funeral Service is at 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
