Dagny Elisabeth Lundstrom, of New Windsor, returned to her Lord on December 12, 2010, at the Bartley Health Care, Jackson, New Jersey.
Dagny was born December 20, 1915, in Vasteras, Sweden, to Ivar Larson and Anna Ohlson Larson. At the age of 7, she and her parents immigrated to America.
On April 17, 1938, she married Fritz Lundstrom. Together with Dagny, they built their retirement home in New Windsor. Upon their retirement, they moved their permanent residence to New Windsor. Fritz predeceased her in 1978.
She is survived by her two children, son Eric Lundstrom and his wife Rita, New Windsor; daughter Lilly-Ann Walker, her husband Michael, Allentown, NJ; and their children Gary, Jeff and Karen and their respective families. Dagny is also survived by a very large extended family, both here in America and in Sweden.
Dagny was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend. She loved her family and her home. She loved to cook and bake, she loved to dance and she loved to maintain many of the Swedish traditions. She was a very gracious lady and will best be remembered for her love of life, her spirit and her smile. She will be sorely missed.
Dagny was a faithful member of King of Kings Lutheran Church in New Windsor.

A Memorial Service, in celebration of Dagny’s life, will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2011, beginning at 2:30 P.M. at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 543 Union Avenue, New Windsor, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Memorial Fund at King of Kings Lutheran Church, in memory of Dagny Lundstrom.
