John W. Goff, 89, of Kerhonkson, NY, formerly of Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY, died October 12, 2009 at Golden Hill Nursing Care, Kingston, NY.
The son of John W. Goff and Lena Schmidt, he was born July 9, 1920.
He was a retired school teacher with Rockland County Boces, West Nyack, NY. He was a member of the Cornwall Yacht Club, Cornwall, Coast Guard Aux. & Model Rail Road Club.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marie Scolaro Goff.
Survivors include his son, John J. Goff & his wife, Deborah of Newburgh; daughters: Ellen D. Gallifuco of Kerhonkson, Elise Amico of New Jersey, and Camille Amico of Illinois; grandchildren: Anthony, Craig, & Michael Goff; and great-grandchild, Alex Goff.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., today, Wednesday, October 14, at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY 12520.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor.
