Singer/songwriter, Lydia Adams Davis, weaves a beautiful voice with captivating melodies to entertain audiences of all ages. Called a "splendid performer" by The New York Times, Lydia improvises songs on the spot.
Lydia's performances for adults can be found in concert halls, coffee houses, and festivals. Lydia performs original acoustic folk, historical programs and a blend of standards and jazz. Frequently engaged as a song writer, Lydia recently chronicled the revitalization of Newburgh in a ballad entitled "Homes Along the River".
Lydia offers programs for children that can be found in schools, nature centers, libraries, parties and family events.
Kathy Byers and John Guth often join Lydia as a full band or duo. Lydia's tribe of wild animal hand puppets enhance the "One Earth So Green and Round" concert program of nature songs, stories and sign language.
