CORNWALL, NY – National Library Week kicks off on Sunday, April 10th and the Cornwall Public Library has events going on all week, with the theme, “You Make the Impact.” It is a time to celebrate the impact that libraries make on their communities across the country, and a time for the library to thank the community for its ever-increasing support.
During this week, you will have a chance to donate food and have your fines waived, learn about birds of prey, play chess or de-stress with our coloring program for adults, share your original poetry at our open mic night, take in a classic movie for free, join a new book club or teen writer’s club or just dig in the dirt and help revive our story garden. Whatever your passion, we are ready to help you indulge it.
The library is also asking the public to come out and vote in the Annual Library Operating Budget Vote and Trustee Election on April 12th. For any questions about any of the events going on during National Library Week, please visit the library’s website at www.cornwallpubliclibrary.org or call the library at 845-534-8282. See the attached events update for a list of programs at the library during National Library Week.
