Schmitt has restocked two food pantries and organized a 7 week senior meal delivery program, secured emergency water delivery for the Village of South Blooming Grove, led the fight for critical emergency funding from the federal government and PPP changes from the federal government for local businesses, is spearheading efforts to have NYS Attorney General ensure New York is represented in the effort to hold the Communist Chinese Government accountable for their role in the COVID-19 and successfully fought for in-person socially distant 2020 graduation ceremonies. Schmitt has also been deployed with the National Guard on the COVID-19 mission.
