Roseanna Ferrara, a lifetime resident of Throggs Neck ,Bronx, NY entered into eternal rest on June 26, 2021 at home in Cornwall NY surrounded by her loving family. She was 85 years old.
The daughter of the late Joseph Russo and Rose (Ferrara) Russo, Roseanna was born on March 18, 1936 in Manhattan, NY.
She was a devout Catholic, who lived each day according to her faith. A caring soul to everyone she met.
Roseanna is survived by her devoted husband: Joseph Ferrara at home; her son: James M. Ferrara and his wife Grace of Cornwall, NY; and her loving grandchildren: James A. and Gabriella N. Ferrara. Roseanna was predeceased by her sons: Joseph and Robert Ferrara. She also leaves behind loved nieces and nephews. May she find eternal love and peace in her new life with Christ.
Based on new CDC guidelines adopted by NYS, fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear masks or be socially distanced, but unvaccinated individuals must continue to wear masks and be socially distanced in the funeral home.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29that Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30th at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, NY
