Build a Better Community @ YOUR library
CORNWALL, NY – As part of the Cornwall Public Library’s Summer Reading Program, “Build a Better World,” library members will have the opportunity to help two local organizations. Starting June 26, and throughout the month of July, the library will be accepting donations for the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley. Items appropriate for donation are: non-perishable food items well within the “use by” date and no open or damaged items. Throughout August, the library will be accepting donations for the Hudson Valley SPCA. Items needed by the SPCA include: Purina Naturals (Dry Food), Purina Indoor (Dry Food), Fancy Feast Cat Food (Canned), Purina One Kitten (Chicken & Rice), Canned Dog Food, Purina Dry, Purina Puppy, Bleach, Lysol Cleaning Supplies, Blankets, Towels & Sheets.
The library will hold two drop-in events to help pack the donated items to be held on:
Thursday, July 27 at 3:00pm for Food Bank of the Hudson Valley
Wednesday, August 30 at 3:00pm for Hudson Valley SPCA
