Police Grants Received and Applied For
The Cornwall-on-Hudson Police Department recently received a Police Grant of four (4) new “Remington” 870 Shotguns valued at $1,263.96 from the “NRA” National Rifle Association.
The Cornwall-on-Hudson Police Department recently applied for a Police Grant from the Bureau of Justice Vest Partnership Program for $1,950.00 to be used towards the purchase of three (3) new Bullet- Proof Vests for its’ officers.
The Cornwall-on-Hudson Police Department recently applied for a Traffic Grant for the year 2017’ from the New York State Governors Traffic Safety Committee “GTSC” for $3,685.00, $2,385.00 of which would utilized for traffic enforcement (“GTSC Distracted Driving and Seatbelt Enforcement Initiatives) and the remaining $1,300.00 to be utilized towards the purchase of a new Police Radar Unit.
