Arrests
08/19/18 A 33 yr old male from Newburgh, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
Incidents
Police issue approximately 9 warnings and 20 summonses to drivers including summonses for parking at the riverfront without a permit including tickets issued during a special traffic assignment.
08/13/18 Police respond to a 1 vehicle accident no injuries on Rt 9W N.
08/17/18 Police dispatch an injured deer humanely.
08/18/18 A caller reported that license plates were stolen from her vehicle.
08/18/18 Police assist Town Police with a vehicle search.
08/19/18 Police respond to a 2 vehicle accident on Academy Ave. no injuries.
08/20/18 Police take a report of criminal mischief. A mailbox was damaged on Idlewild Ave.

08/24/18 A cake reported hearing gunshots on Maple Rd. neighbor had dispatched a rabid raccoon with a 12 gauge shotgun.
