Arrests

04/18/18 A 23 yr old female from Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
04/19/18 Jose R Pena, age 29 of New City, NY was arrested on a warrant.
04/20/18 A 39 yr old male from Highland Falls, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
04/21/18 A 25 yr old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
04/21/18 A 49 yr old male from Fort Montgomery, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
05/01/18 A 17 yr old male was arrested and charged with assault in the 3rd degree and disorderly conduct.
05/05/18 Nathan T. combs, age 33, of Newburgh NY was arrested on 2 active warrants from Orange County family court.

Incidents
Police issue approximately 46 warnings and 63 summonses to drivers including summonses for parking at the riverfront without a permit and for parking in the fire lane at COH school. including tickets issued during a special traffic assignment.
04/19/18 A loose brown and white dog was picked up on Spruce St. and transferred to New Windsor Animal Control.
04/24/18 Police respond to Route 9W NB for a disabled vehicle.
04/24/18 Police respond with COVAC on a medical call.
04/25/18 A caller reported that his mother’s cell phone was stolen from her residence on Lafayette St.
04/26/18 Police respond to Mountain Rd for a vehicle rollover. Patrol was able to get the sunroof open so the driver could be extricated from the vehicle.
04/26/18 Police take a report of criminal mischief. An entrance door window was broken overnight at the DPW window.
04/26/18 A person flagged down an officer to report low hanging wires on Taylor Place.
04/27/18 A caller from Wood Ave. reported a dog bite.
04/27/18 OC911 reported telephone wires down on Deer Hill Rd.
04/27/18 Police assist Town Police with a motor vehicle accident on Rt 9W. the vehicle was located down an embankment and the driver was extricated from the vehicle.
04/30/18 Police respond to Wood Ave for a report of wires down.
05/02/18 Police and Fire Dept respond to Maple rd for a brush fire.
05/02/18 Police assist Town Police with a 2 vehicle accident.
05/04/18 A caller reported that youths were putting things in the road to block the roadway. Police spoke to mother of the juvenile put in charge of the youths doing this.
